Sisterhood Evenings - The Way of Wisdom Spring 2026

Studying the Bible in community makes us much more likely to live it out in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, and more. We are believing 2026 is going to be a transformative year for our women and are so looking forward to diving into the book of Proverbs and growing together in life-changing wisdom! The study we are using is called The Way of Wisdom and has multiple authors with different teaching styles that will lead us on the path of life. Sisterhood mornings and evenings are a space to come together to grow in our relationships with the Lord and one another. We gather as a large group and sit in smaller groups at tables for the semester. Each week includes worship, a teaching, and discussion time within your table group. We believe Sisterhood is a place where we can come together to comprehend the Word in our heads, be convicted in our hearts and carry it out with our hands so one of our weeks together will include a serve project.

Love In Action Training

During the month of March, our Local Missions Ministry is inviting our church into a new initiative called "Love Where You Live". Loving where we live is a call to live out our faith in tangible, everyday ways—reflecting God’s grace through our presence, our service, and our compassion. Together, we are committing to love where we live by showing up, serving, and caring for the most vulnerable in our city. As we seek to reflect the heart of God, our prayer is that people would see love in action and be drawn to His offer of salvation, grace, and healing. As part of this call to action, we will be hosting a training designed to equip and prepare us to serve well. This training will deepen our understanding of poverty and the lived experiences of those facing it, helping us grow in empathy and respond with humility, wisdom, and Christ-centered compassion. The training will be led by Reverend Dr. Marion Platt, Executive Director of Star Gospel Mission, who brings decades of experience walking alongside individuals and families in our city. Our mission field isn’t somewhere else—it’s right here, where God has placed us.
