The small group is a co-ed group and encourage people can come as they are. We value vulnerability, confidence in that what we share will be protected by our peers in a safe space, and honoring everyone’s time by trying to ensure everyone gets a chance to engage. You do not have to know much about the Bible or bring anything, just come with an open heart! We truly believe that you cannot do life alone and are honored to walk along side whoever God sends us.

Co-ed | Parent Support Group: Mixed Ages
This is a support group for Christian parents of children/grandchildren identifying as LGBTQ, questioning their identity or struggling with same sex attraction. This group will provide a supportive community to help parents love their child well, point them towards Jesus, and discover what God wants to do in their own hearts. The sessions will follow the book “Embracing The Journey” by Greg and Lynn McDonald. The group will meet through the month of April on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the Chapel. After April, the group will take a break during the summer and resume back to meeting in September.

Co-Ed | UPLIFT and Chronic Pain Encouragement Group: Mixed Ages
The UPLIFT and Chronic Pain Encouragement Group provides a supportive community for individuals dealing with chronic illnesses/disabilities and chronic pain. Those of us who struggle with chronic pain often do not have a visible disability, making it difficult for others to understand and relate. The group is led by Christians who can truly empathize with men and women struggling with chronic pain conditions. This is a safe, non-judgmental place where members can share their experiences and hear how their faith and reliance helps them cope with their struggles.
This group meets in Dream Team Central at the Mt. Pleasant Campus on the 3rd Saturday of each month, 9:30-11 am.

Our Tuesday night group is a group committed to building deep and meaningful faith-based relationships. This means that while the structure of our Bible study varies (both scripture based and video led). We always start group with time for highs and lows to talk about what is going on in our lives and end group with designated split time, where we separate by gender to share prayer requests and dive a little deeper in a slightly more intimate setting. We find great value in doing life with one another (cookouts, game nights, Riverdogs games, service activities, and celebrations) and not just being a group that only sees each other once a week for Bible study. “Group,” as we call it, is a safe space to be loved and encouraged by other brothers and sisters in Christ.

MTP Growth Track | Freedom Course - Tues PM
We are excited to invite you to join our 10-week program designed to help you live a fulfilling life with Christ. Our Freedom Groups are here to support you in your faith journey, guiding you to apply God's Word to your challenges, understand your worth in His eyes, and discover your purpose in His Kingdom. Our goal is to help you overcome any barriers to your relationship with God and lead you towards true freedom.
Our Freedom Groups meet weekly for 10 weeks to journey through the Freedom Small Group curriculum, ending with the Freedom Retreat. This retreat reinforces the lessons learned in Freedom, helping you continue to grow and build a strong foundation for living freely every day.
To cover the costs of the Freedom Retreat, including print materials, t-shirt & lunch, there is a registration fee of $30.
The Freedom Course and Retreat are held twice a year. The next Freedom Course will start on August 27, 2024, followed by the Retreat on November 8 & 9, 2024.

The life you thought you had is gone. And now, you are consumed with thoughts and feelings you’ve never experienced before - thoughts and feelings you can’t even describe. With a fresh perspective on trauma treatment, Betrayal & Beyond takes a partner sensitive approach to helping you find healing from the effects of sexual betrayal.
Throughout this group experience, you will:
Gain a greater understanding of how the trauma from betrayal is impacting your mind, body, and soul.
Share your story in a safe, grace-filled environment, with other women who understand the trauma created through betrayal.
Implement practical strategies to alleviate trauma symptoms during times of stress, keep you safe and emotionally healthy.
Meditate on God’s Word, allowing Him to speak truth into your situation.
Identify what you’re trusting God for each week; since trust has been lost, leaning in and trusting God will be foundational to your healing.
Reestablish trust and emotional health in your relationship if you are still married.
This is a 9-month long class that will begin with an orientation on Monday, February 19th from 6:30PM-8:30PM at the Mount Pleasant Campus in Studio A.

This class will meet at the MTP campus and is a 9-month long class. It will begin with an orientation on Thursday, June 20th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Campus in Studio C.
Betrayal & Beyond is a small group class designed to support women in navigating the trauma of experiencing sexual betrayal within their marriage (ie: infidelity, pornography addiction, etc). Although sexual betrayal has turned your world upside down, it is possible to find hope and healing. With a biblically based and clinically informed perspective on trauma treatment, Betrayal & Beyond takes a partner sensitive approach to healing from the devastating effects of sexual betrayal.
Throughout this 9-month long group experience, you will:
- Share your story in a safe, grace-filled environment with women who understand the trauma created through betrayal
- Gain a deeper understanding of how the trauma of betrayal has impacted your mind, body and spirit

This group for women ages 30-40s meets in the Belle Hall apartments of Mount Pleasant on Tuesday nights, 7:00-9:00 PM. We are excited to bond through building community and supporting each other as we trust in the Lord's plans for our lives! On February 27, we are going to be starting a new 8-week bible study called "Life Under the Sun" by Hannah Anderson. It often feels like life is spinning at a dizzying rate. All things ever seem to do is change. And just as soon as we get our footing, the ground shifts under us again. How can we keep our balance in such a disorienting world? Hannah Anderson invites us to consider the wisdom of Ecclesiastes afresh as we search for a solid foundation for life under the sun. Together, we’ll learn to name our anxieties, concerns, and disappointments. We’ll discover how Ecclesiastes is more than self-help or good advice—how it frees us to ask the questions that Jesus Himself will eventually answer. And through its raw honesty and unflinching commitment to goodness, we’ll find hope in the One who guides all days under the sun.
